Charms to Soothe and Excite

Music has charms to soothe our discontent. Check it out!  The amount of new music being  released and streaming from indies is absolutely amazing.  The range of talent is enormous --from high to low. However, in  reviewing this range of talent my attention has been focused on the outstanding music written, arranged and produced at Conchillo Records by CC Ryder. The music and lyrics send messages on a multitude of levels. The songs produced and released in each genre-- hip hop, smooth jazz, gospel and country pop--offer melody, rhythm and texture that can best be described as "tight". Fans across the country are excited by Gha'nai's "Just One Look". Her beauty and talent are captivating.  Then there's the hip hop artist, Skinny ,"Mo' Paper" that's rocking his fans with words in motion.  Of course, CC Ryder's album,"Out of My Head" and single, "Be Yourself" have caught the attention of afficiandos of smooth jazz  who just want more of his sophisticated sound.

The talent that's pumping out of the Conchillo Records studio is ready to rock.

  A new single sung by Gha'nai is fantastic, "Just One Look".   Art Laboe introduced it on his show on The Beat. Such a terrific message.  Just lovin' it. Soothing Discontent

Music has charms to soothe our discontent. Check it out! It's amazing to note the magnitude of musical talent that is shared by musicians on the internet. Magnificent talent exists across the genre yet there seems to be limited expression on the stage for exceptional talent. There also is an excessive amount of mediocrity that graces the airwaves each and every day. When one wants to capture life's delightful designs the source of music can be found wanting. Yet I find solace and comfort in the jazz classics that can be found on few radio stations.

Grace and Goodwill

Music has charms to soothe our discontent. Check it out! The availability of the gospel CD,Too Close is terrific. There are 13 songs sung by Bernard Lilton each of which has a message that can both soothe and delight. The challenges of every day experiences can certainly offer the opportunity to welcome the goodwill of rhythmic, toe-tapping, uplifting contemporary gospel music.
